Through Unexplored Roads — 6th chapter

On the second, and last, day in Moscow, Mike and Nicole woke up to the sun going through their hotel room, after a long night, both just wanting a quick shower, having breakfast and discovering the city. No one said a word about last night until, when the elevator doors close, Nicole leans Mike against the wall, kisses him and says, “Thank you for last night, this smile is because of you, thank you. ”Mike was speechless, but his smile was enough to realize she wasn't the only one happy.

The new couple left the hotel, already with their bags, because they had the longest train ride to Beijing that night.

In the middle of Red Square, Mike looks at Nicole and notices that she was crying, puts his things on the floor and hugs her, kiss her and says, “What’s up? Why are you crying?”

“Sorry Mike…” Said her in tears.
“Because?”
“I can’t keep going in the trip with you, and please don’t ask why…”

Tears run down Mike’s cheeks, after she spoken, but he didn’t ask why, like she wanted.

“Stay with my computer, we visit Moscow together, and at the station we follow different paths, what do you say?” Said her

Mike couldn’t speak, it felt like everything was falling apart, he didn’t realize what was going on, but he didn’t want to ask either, so he swallowed and said,

“Okay, if that’s what you want, fine.”
