Post-Covid Life
I had already tried “Vanlife”, did last month, two years ago, but I was using my 1998 Suzuki Baleno Hatchback to travel the roads of my Portugal, North to South through interior and South to North through the coastal zone, privileges of live in a country with a huge, beautiful, coastal area.
At that time I wanted to try what it felt like to travel, sleep in the car (without being drunk, waiting for the effect to pass so I could go home) and of course, cooking. Well, I am 1.85 meters, my car barely exceeds two meters in length, however, if I lay down the driver’s seat, I am in a comfortable position, I just have to cover the windows (it is advisable to cover the windows before lowering the seat), and thus forced me to spend more time outside.
To cook I got a fantastic way, just open the trunk and use the shelf, a kitchen outside the car is a good idea.
But, what if it rains? You ask.
Simple, or I’m going to eat out, or set up a cover on the trunk (attention, this in the car), and I liked this system so much that I adopted it for my van, (but let’s go already).
It took me a week to travel my country, (but if I had more time, it would take that time), and in the end I was grateful for the trip, and more importantly, for not having any problems with the car, it was then that I decided to start looking for a van to…
