One year without facebook, what have changed?
Hi, today I want to tell you what have changed in my life since I deleted my facebook account, and never look back, (maybe you can do the same).
I had a facebook account since 2008, and start as a place to talk with people I’ve met in my first internship, but then escalated quickly, I started a page for a project I started about electronic music, and it wasn’t only a place to talk to old colleagues, was a place to support new artists on the electronic music scene, this wasn’t a negative point, I met a really interesting people, the negative part came now.
I started using facebook as way to make time goes faster, just swipe, swipe, swipe, the days passed, and I wasn’t being productive at all, but I realize isn’t facebook fault, it was mine, so I started talk to people I had on facebook on another platform, as I love photography, makes sense for me keep Instagram, at least for now, anyway, in one month, I’ve reduced drastically my time on facebook, I started set goals which kept my mind occupied, instead of reading 30 minutes a day, (about a book a month), I started reading 3 or 4 books a month, only good things happened.
After one year, I see people sitting on a coffeeshop where I stop occasionally and realize I was that way a year ago, people only use facebook for one thing, and it wasn’t the way Mark Zuckerberg created for.
Nowadays, I only have Instagram and Medium, and I feel amazing!
