Here in Portugal people buy expensive things to say “I have money” and to support their lack of something. Here it’s more important to have debts and show you are living great than save to start a business without borrow from the bank. I always say that I never will borrow money from the bank, I know it’s gonna to be harder, but I prefer this way, and other people doesn’t understand.
