Last month I asked my boss if I could be the travel welder, he pointed out in his notebook that I was interested in traveling for work, (I think)…

The next day, the boss came to me, and asked me if I wanted to go to Romania, dismantle an assembly line…my answer was positive, and here a new chapter of my life began…

From Romania, I flew to Warsaw, Poland, and then I took the plane for the final destination, Kosice, Slovakia, and here I will tell you how the flights went…

Bucharest Airport, Romania

One other colleague and I arrived at the airport two hours before the flight time, as the companies advise…

We checked in, and our bags went to the basement, but we still had to wait for some, (a lot), time for a person to come and get two more bags that contained work tools, because they had irregular shapes, (according to them)…

We wait an hour, at the door of the elevator that leads to the x-ray control, until we are invited to enter the elevator to meet the suitcases, in the x-ray control place…

The bags, due to the huge number of trips they have already made, adding the treatment of the airport staff, (when people are not looking), although still functional, are already a little degraded, and one of them even needed to be wrapped in plastic, so it wouldn’t open, as happened the first time…

10€ was spent to wrap it, and that plastic had a short life to do its job…

The security guard asked to tear the plastic, and then opened the suitcase, to go through the x-ray, to see if everything was ok…and then he took care of the other one…

We waited for an hour for this, and then, of course, the security guard didn’t want to know about wrapping the suitcase in plastic again, so it wouldn’t open…and my colleague and I were speaking Portuguese among us so that we wouldn’t be heard, and it’s a good thing they didn’t understand (I think), because maybe they wouldn’t let us out of there…

After this matter was resolved, it was time for us to go through the x-ray, and oh boy, it was
