Crossing the unknown

Hi, I’m Simão and I am an adventurer, more specifically on road. I love going from A to B by car, but not a fancy car or a van or a rv, my car is a ’98 Suzuki Baleno, have a Japanese motor so, I totally believe in what I have. Most people don’t understand this passion, and frankly I don’t care, they say things like “Why are traveling by car when you can go by airplane?”, “Your car is so old, you can’t reach the destiny”. You understand my point, the fact is, my car can be old but I did things you won’t believe, I drove from north to south through interior and south to north through coast, I went from mountains roads and I was so scared of getting stuck but as a proud man I don’t turn around, I crossed a stream and reach to the main road.

Most recently I drive from my hometown through north of Spain until Nantes, in France, I’m not an expert in mechanic I only know the basics, like check the oil, the water level, battery level and a little bit of change a tire, I always have everything check.

I choose to drive this way because I like to meet new people who do the same as me, I love to cook on the portable stove, and for sleep, just cover the windows, lay the seat and good night, when I have someone with me, the back seat go down and voilá, perfect for two people. I just park near beaches or mountains, but attention, if you have that feeling that something isn’t ok, drive for somewhere else, I’m a man and even I do that, I’m not an hero.
