Conversations With Parents
During a lunch with his parents, S was, as always, quiet and eating his vegan meal, and since his parents liked to watch the news while they ate, S had created a refuge in his mind to disconnect himself from the tragedies that were going the news, it was just him in his van/house on top of a cliff His brother by his side on the table, he wasn’t vegan as he was (yet), but he ate less food, when his father says:
Your generation will bankrupt many restaurants, many people will be out of work, all because you don't go out like us to eat out, and you don't spend the money.
S said only three words:
I don’t care.
S didn’t want to sound like a person with a lack of empathy, but that’s what he managed. S wanted to live a simple life where no one or any animals would suffer, S wanted to live in his VW T4 converted by him with the help of his father, with material he had at home, in a caravan, and alternate places to spend the night , sometimes in front of the beach, sometimes in the middle of the forest. S was a hard worker and he will stop in some places to work, he wasn’t a bum who ask for money in the streets. S had no intention of buying or renting a house where he would raise a family, S did want to start a family and continue to travel, and when the T4 became too small, he will bought a bigger van and travel with his family.
